29.9.21 - Litter Picking

During our meeting today, we decided to go around the school grounds to conduct a litter pick. We know that our school friends are all very good at putting their litter into the bins provided around the school, so we didn't find too much but we were still proud of ourselves for making our school environment a cleaner place. Lots of our friends came to join us on the litter pick and were inspired to help keep the school tidy.

A big congratulations to our new Eco Council representatives at Haynes.

In Reception we have Ella and George, in Year 1 we have Bronwyn and Jacob, in Year 2 we have Izzy and Rachel, in Year 3 we have Imogen and Xavier and in Year 4 we have Delilah and Ronnie. Everyone is so excited to get started on helping to make our school more eco friendly and we all have lots of ideas on how we can get started!

Eco council representatives will meet each Wednesday at lunchtime to discuss and action our ideas. See you on Wednesday Eco Council!
