Welcome to the 1st blog from ROBINS. We are extremely proud of the children in Robins class. They have settled very well into daily life at Haynes. The children are keen to learn and play and it is lovely to see their enthusiasm each day in both the indoor and outdoor learning environments. The children have begun their topic called ‘Read All About It’ and are becoming very familiar with the key characters in the Oxford Reading Tree scheme. The children have heard many stories and have enjoyed hearing about the adventures that Kipper and his brother, Chip and sister, Biff go on. They are really taken with Floppy their dog and the nosey neighbour and his dog who appear in every book! The children have enjoyed PE lessons and are developing their listening skills along with their awareness of space. They have been outside on a ‘Listening Walk’ where the children identified planes, birds, footsteps, the wind blowing leaves and children’s voices. Please enjoy looking through the photos of early days in ROBINS class. Thank you.
