Spring 2nd half
What an exciting start to the term, with lots of fun activities and learning happening everywhere! New climbing frame, World Book Day, Buddy Reading, Book Swap and Bedtime Stories, to name a few.
On Shrove Tuesday we made pancakes and ate them for our snack!
In Maths we have been consolidating our counting to 20 and beyond, forwards and backwards, ordering numbers to 20, addition and beginning to learn our number bonds to 10.
In English we have been consolidating our phonics, identifying initial sounds and writing words with digraphs. We have been learning about people who help us and have been writing about the role of the firefighter and Florence Nightingale. We have also been out in the beautiful sunshine to relax and read some books.
